The alert identifies low float stocks making an intraday sharp price move upwards with above average volume. The alert triggers at the 5 minute opening range breakout and after satisfying 5 other proprietary stock technical indicators. Entry at the trigger price should work, however, depending on the momentum at the time of trigger waiting for a $0.3-$0.5 pull back is a less risky entry and could maximize the profits. This alert targets only a price movement within a short amount of time usually no longer than three hours from trigger. While longer term hold may be successful, there is limited statistical data to confirm the long term success of this strategy.
This alert was named Earth Orbit Breakout because it offers a very short term momentum pulse sufficient to realize a quick profit from the trigger away from the normal stock price and average true range.
