The Heat Alert is an alert optimized by Profit Mission Control. The alert was created and back-tested using Trade Ideas software. The alert identifies stocks with extreme intraday momentum satisfying a set of 12 proprietary technical indicators and breaking above a prior resistance. Entry at the trigger price should work, however, if a pull back occurs near the alert trigger price, entry at a pull back $0.3-$1.00 below alert trigger price should maximize the profits. The Heat Alert statistically is not as accurate as the Moon Shot Alert for example, so extra risk management is required.
